Decorating for the 4th

Kris here! With the fourth of July right around the corner I have my house all ready to celebrate. I love the fourth of July because I love celebrating our country. The main decorations I use for the fourth of July is the American flag. I have collected many small, medium, and large flags to add touches of red white and blue to my house.

I got this blue America sign from Home Goods and the American Flag pillow at pottery barn years ago.

In my entryway I decided to fill  my dough bowl with old patriotic books, and little patriotic accessories. imageimage

I love adding little flags throughout my house. imageimageimage

In my kitchen I filled this tulip crate from Magnolia Market with some apples, cherries, and flags. You can’t get much more patriotic than apples and cherries. image

I love how  our mantel turned out with the collection of a bunch of flags. image

In my hutch in my dining room I changed out all of my dishes to my blue transfer ware and added some flags and a stitchery that I did years ago.

To decorate for the fourth all you need to do is add some red white and blue and some flags. It’s as easy as that. We are ready to celebrate next Monday, are you?
